Cracking little find for an overnighter while in the local area for a tractor driving experience 😁 Bev was great, very communicative and gave us a warm welcome. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. Close to local amenities too which was great.

Myself, my partner and the dog have recently got back from a wonderful stay at Bev's place over Easter. The location felt safe, quiet and was peaceful. We were blessed to have a couple of days of delightful dry weather so was able to explore the two local towns of Northallerton and Thirsk. Both were only a 10-15 minute drive away from the cottage. Personally I preferred Thirsk as there were more places to let the dog off the lead for a run. We parked just outside the centre and walked though the green area (park) to town. As for the home it is an awesome place to cook, relax, soak (bath tub) and sleep. Throughout our stay the cottage was always warm. The kitchen is kitted out with everything you need to throw a meal together. The living room has two wonderfully comfy sofas so on the evenings was perfect to chill out on while watching a spot of freeview telly. It really felt like a home away from home.

Beautiful dog-friendly cottage in a quiet Yorkshire village, easy to find, lovely and warm on arrival. Communication with Bev was very easy before and during our stay, she and Willow were perfect hosts for us and our two Labradors. It's nice to stay in a place where dogs are actually properly welcome and catered for, rather than just tolerated. 5 stars from us
