Quinta da Fonteireira is located in Queluz - Belas. It is near Lisbon, Cascais and Sintra. It is surrounded by a beautiful forest, it has a swimming pool, tennis court, and a french-inspired garden. It is near golf courts. The origin of "Quinta da Fonteireira" dates back to 1525. In 1842 it became property of the Pinto Basto family. The owner was the director of major porcelain factory of Vista Alegre, founded by his father, José Ferreira Pinto Basto, political, liberal and one of the builders of the modern Portuguese economy. Eduardo, a businessman and art lover, asked Raul Lino to restore the house in 1916 This architect, born in the nationalist atmosphere of the nineteenth century, was one of the founders of the Portuguese House Movement. The set, towed color pink, designed with great imagination and care, give a fairy tale look, with its turrets, its chimneys, its porches, balconies and low walls, tall windows, galleries, stairs and multiple banks lined with tile. Next to the gardens is the swimming pool. The property is surrounded by a vast and beautiful forest area. This house has a total area of 354 m2 spread over two floors.
