We enjoyed the space hoped we could stay longer but we’ll be back next time
During our stay at the Amari villa in Tulum, the experience was a mix of highs and lows. The drivers (ADRIAN & JORGE) provided exceptional service, going above and beyond to ensure our transportation needs were met with efficiency and courtesy. However, our interactions with the concierge, Sofia, were disappointing. Despite the advertised promise of complimentary shuttles, we were taken aback to discover that this perk came with significant caveats. This lack of transparency felt misleading and left us feeling exploited. we were subjected to additional charges totalling nearly $700. Enric, another concierge, tried to salvage our experience. However, it was disheartening to witness Sophia retracting his efforts, undermining his attempts to enhance our experience. While the villa itself may have offered comfort and relaxation, the disparity between the service provided by the drivers and the deception from the concierge tarnished what could have been an otherwise enjoyable stay.
Amazing experience! The villa is beautiful and the team is so responsive and easy to work with. Everyone who worked here was really kind. The shuttle service was so convenient and absolutely necessary for getting around tulum. Definitely recommend!!
Visited Tulum for my first time and this place is a gem in the jungle! The hosts were very accommodating and coordinated all of our reservations and events. The only hiccup was the reservation at Taboo but worked out for us. They’re very responsive and made my trip easy! The ride to and from the city was a BIG PLUS!!! Looking forward to bringing my family and will definitely book here again. Thank you!!
I absolutely loved staying at Amari. Our concierge Sofía and Enric were very good with communication and actually begin communicating with me well before my arrival - giving options for restaurants and activities around town. The home was more beautiful than the photos could ever depict. Truly breathtaking. Our drivers Adrian and Jorge were amazing and was able to pivot when we wanted to change activities last minute. I really appreciated that. I highly recommend for anyone thinking about visiting Tulum. Thank you again for the high quality service provided.

✦ Private beach/town shuttle is our next favorite - AMARI has it readily available for you. The only community that offers private free shuttles on a schedule to Tulum BEACH and TOWN.
✦ Regular Taxis are common all over Tulum - prices can vary and it’s best if you ask us to book it for you so we can secure a fair price.
✦ Colectivos are shared local shuttles that operate along designated routes. Very cheap prices and you can get off along their designated route. It’s the least comfortable choice but very affordable.

1. Renting Bicycles - riding bicycles is the most common way to explore Tulum and find hidden gems.
2. Renting Scooters and ATVs is the 2nd most common way to explore Tulum's surroundings, including the beautiful beaches and lush jungle.
