Paula's place was absolutely beautiful. I was a bit skeptical of the the fact there wasn't AC but the description was right, the breeze off the lake was all you need. They have done a great job designing a space that integrates with the natrual environment. The space is just far enough from town that you get the feeling of being off-the-beaten track but also able to go to town and get all the essentials you need. While the kitchen is small, it has everything you need to make a basic meal. The pictures don't do the dock/access to water justice. They have a beautifyl little dock that is partially shaded by a large tree. I thought I would want a long dock, but this one was perfect. You get access to the water without being in the direct sun, which for this fair skinned person was a plus. We would definitely stay again.
