A Nice spot located centrally on the island. The wood fire certainly heated up the place no problem, probably did its job too well :) My only issue with the house was not having a bathroom upstairs with the bedroom. The steep ladder was not the best to climb down in the middle of the night. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Poppies.

Really lovely spot. Cute little space. Easy access to beach. Nice dinning and lounge seating with a view. Comfortable seating around the fireplace. Lovely.

Poppies is beautifully located and cosy. We loved the novelty of the loft bedrooms, easy access to the beach and the ambience of the fire. One area for improvement would be the linen and toiletries provided - hotel style sheets (rather than an actual duvet and cover) and cheap shampoo and conditioner (rather than something more gentle on the environment) let the rest of the experience down. Other than that it’s a fabulous place to stay.

We loved our stay, cosy and comfortable, close to many wonderful Bruny locations and also very snug at night, the fire really does make the space wonderfully warm very quickly. Can heartily recommend an early morning dip to counteract the effects of sampling lovely Tassie wines had the night prior! Would certainly stay again, and hope to.

Rustic, cosy cabin in a great location on the beach. Nice and quiet and we had the beach to ourselves most of our stay. Very comfortable and the fire worked well. Very organised host too! As previous review said, it's a ladder to the upstairs so not suitable for small children but our 5 yr old was fine.
