I have nothing but the best things to say about our stay in Paulo’s place. The apartment is beautiful, clean with all the amenities, beautiful terrace and perfect location. Paulo is a wonderful host, very responsive, genuine and such a great person overall. We absolutely loved our stay and truly hoping to be back. Highly recommend this place!

Beautiful apartment with a huge terrace with mountain and ocean views just as described. The hosts were very welcoming, provided great local recommendations, and easy to communicate with.

Paulo & his place were fantastic! Cannot understate how beautiful the patio was. Paulo also gave bread every morning and had great parking. When we first arrived, he helped us take our luggage and gave us a tour to ensure we could get settled in smoothly. Paulo also gave local recommendations for what to do in Madeira and what restaurants/markets were nearby. Another reviewer said the parking situation was difficult, but I found this to not be the case at all. Having our own private garage parking with a key was perfect! The location of the BnB was also easy to see (Paulo's garage has wooden paneling in the entrance - easy to find!). After a long day in Madeira, ending our night with Paulo's hot tub & rainfall shower was delightful. I would recommend staying here, 10/10 experience!

Stayed here for a week in the off-season (early February). Paulo and his family were extremely accommodating and helpful especially when I booked a same-day check-in. The apartment was extremely clean, quiet, and well-appointed. The private terrace (with WiFi access) and freshly baked bread were amazing bonuses. The two downsides to consider: parking is on the street and was pretty challenging to find a spot most nights. Paulo was always onsite to help me and often parked my car for me, but keep this in mind if private parking is important to you. The second downside is that the unit is on the top floor (~3 flights of stairs) and no lift that I know of. Again, Paulo was extremely helpful carrying my luggage up and down, but the stairs are just something to be aware of. Location was great and the unit more than met my needs for the week. I would definitely stay here again!

We have just returned from a fabulous stay in Funchal, Madeira. Paulo was a great host who met us on arrival and gave us a tour of the apartment. Paulo was really friendly and gave us many recommendations of local attractions and suggestions of places we could explore on the island. Paulo was always quick to respond to texts eg when we enquired about car hire locally. We would strongly recommend this fresh open plan apartment with its stunning views from the balcony overlooking the sea. We were treated with fresh local bread every morning. We can’t wait to book again-thank you Paulo for making this a lovely stress free holiday.
