If you're looking for a different type of place to go for a few days and relax, then this is a great choice. Up in the mountains close to Atenas, you get an incredible location. Some things we noticed: - The views are awesome. You can see the whole valley spread out including the planes landing at the the airport in Alajuela. Gorgeous at night with all the lights. - The front desk young lady (Monica) was very helpful and friendly. Gave us some ice and was very pleasant - Pool is perfect temp and was kept clean. Spent a lot of time there - Kind of rundown and in need of some maintenance. Chipped paint, loose arm support on pool, stained walls, etc. Not a big deal though, just observations. - Kitchen is nice but could use a few more pots, pans and better knives. Include basics like cooking oil , salt and pepper. All in all, we still enjoyed our stay and would go again. The views and the weather are worth it!
