Entering this stylish property you will find yourself in the refreshing open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Featuring a TV, plenty of seating and an electric fire, the lounge is a perfect space to settle back, chat about the day or watch a movie. You can share a fantastic family meal around the central kitchen island bar, and the kitchen itself has a wide range of equipment so you can rustle up all your favourite dishes. Upstairs, you will have a choice of two delightful, soothingly decorated bedrooms, each with king-size beds, a TV, plenty of storage space and a handy en-suite shower room. From the lounge you can step out into the spacious patio – a relaxing spot for a morning coffee as you get ready for the day’s activities. The cottage is set between Cartmel and the picturesque village of Allithwaite (2 miles), and makes a wonderful base for experiencing the Cartmel Peninsula. Nearby attractions including Holker Hall and Gardens, Humphrey Head, Hampsfell, Predator Experience and the Lakeland Motor Museum (all within 7 miles). Cartmel is home to a steeplechase racecourse and a medieval priory, and is renowned for its fabulous variety of welcoming restaurants, cafes and pubs. Also nearby is Fell Foot (8 miles), a beautiful country park on the banks of Windermere.
