Close by the water, the rapids of the Tay River can be heard - as can the beaver tails slapping. Bring your canoe or kayak and take a river paddle just steps from your room. Walk over the rainbow bridge to Perth's downtown and enjoy an evening meal or morning coffee. The best of both worlds. Full washroom and laundry are readily available by a rear exterior door to the main house. A friendly dog and cat live in the main house - so this is a pet friendly environment.

Catherine was a very friendly and responsive host. The cute little place was super and clean and exactly like the description. She was very kind and so was Sadie 🐶. She has tons of local recommendations that I can’t wait to check out! Beautiful area.

This is the quiet side of town - the loudest noise we are aware of is the river and the occasional beaver slapping a tail yet still we can walk to the pub or brewery. Stewart Park is the treasure in the centre of town - so picturesque it could be a pastoral painting. Perth has Bowling Lanes (very retro), a mini-putt and boat rental. A great place to come to get away from everything and experience a slower pace of life.
Perth is a small Ontario town (pop. 6500 approx). It is a hidden gem off of Hwy 7. From this location everything is a short distance on foot - Stewart Park, the Crystal Palace all an scenic 5 minutes away.
