Let yourself relax in this elegant newly available holiday home. Comfortable, well equipped, free wifi. You could explore, or just take each day as it comes, chilling In this quieter area of the wooded park. Family friendly with two outdoor play areas, an indoor area for tinies and major attractions for all ages are near. Recommended pubs are nearby. A pool, gym and sauna can be used with a pass purchase. The New Forest National Park is just a very short drive or walk away. Two bedroom elegant holiday home, new 2023. We hope you will enjoy relaxing in the main bedroom with a kingsize bed, TV, vanity area, ensuite bath with shower over, good size walk in wardrobe with hanging space, cupboard and drawers. Twin bedroom with two full size single beds, TV and wardrobe suitable for children or adults. This cabin sleeps four in total. Hand towels, and bedding are supplied but you will need to bring bath/ swim towels. A shower, basin, with toilet is off the short corridor. Eco friendly soap and body wash, hand towels, dishwasher tablets and a couple of washing machine tabs, are provided, depending on length of your stay. Coffee, tea, sugar etc and some milk pods are left ready for you for the first night or so. Open plan kitchen/dining room with table seating for four with dishwasher, wine cooler unit. Leading to a comfortable seating area with a Smart TV. Or in warmer weather, you might enjoy opening the patio doors to the deck with table and cushioned seating. Perhaps have some early morning coffee there or all your meals? A parasol is available during warmer months. Steps to the gated deck. If you bring bicycles, they can be left on the deck but bring your own locks. A second car can be parked in the car park near the entrance or sometimes there is one gravelled space free, set into the green.

We had a lovely stay at Jane’s place. From the start she was helpful, friendly and communicative. Located within Sandy Balls, it is a perfect base for which to explore the new forest. The cabin is located down a quiet cul-de-sac with only one neighbour at the minute meaning a nice peaceful stay is guaranteed The cabin is nicely appointed with all the amenities, you could desire and even caters really well for young children, including a highchair, specific cutlery and plates/bowls Everything was clean and tidy, and as it’s a new cabin, everything was pristine and in working order. The showers were powerful and warm, which is always an important consideration! Nice touches such as sustainably sourced, cleaning and toiletries supplies were provided Jane was very flexible in the check-in checkout process, which was very much appreciated for someone with a young family! Overall, we had a fantastic time, and would love to come back and stay again soon!
Perfect hub for a young family for a break in the New Forest. Accommodation was immaculate, well appointed and a beautiful example of this type of accommodation. Jane was extremely helpful, thoughtful and little touches made it feel special. This is a fantastic lodge at Sandyballs. Super comfortable with quality textiles and bedding - you can feel the care taken setting it up for holiday-makers to enjoy as a home from home. Even if a ‘holiday park’ set up is not your thing/normal accommodation - this is a great option for a young family with ample space, play areas and easy reach of a large number of activities in the vicinity off site with the option to dip in to the facilities and activities on site. The lodge was located in a beautiful spot and wonderfully kept. It was close to lots of amenities and the ideally located to explore the New Forest. Jane was easy to communicate with and went above and beyond. Highly Recommend

In leafy family friendly Sandy Balls in the New Forest area, this park is well maintained and has a reputation for being a quieter park. Younger children will enjoy the soft play adventure or the two outdoor play areas. Perhaps hire a cycles or bring them if they are older? Just a short stroll away are views across the scenic Avon valley, from the escarpment that the park gets name from. There are many walks, as long or as short as you like. A good pub is within easy walking or driving distance or visit nearby Fordingbridge. There are many attractions easily with an hour drive. You could well see herds of deer nearby or go just up the road over the cattle grid to see ponies, donkeys, cattle; pigs in the autumn eating the acorns and if you are lucky, deer. Access to the gym, swimming pool, alpaca walks and entertainments with a pass bought through me. About 3-4 weeks notice is needed, we will arrange them for you and you can then book. If you buy a pass, advance early booking is advisable at busy times.
Travel by car is easiest but the cycle trails are well marked and maintained. It is a walkers paradise, long, short, hill top, valleys, forested, heathland, gravelled or sometimes very muddy or with stream crossings are all available.
The nearest train stations are at Salisbury, Dean, Ashurst New Forest and Brockenhurst.
