Great stay from start to finish. The barn was immaculately presented and looked exactly like the listing photos. Angela and Wayne were in contact throughout our stay. And accommodated our request for a later checkout. 100% will be looking at booking again.
Fantastic host! Beautiful barn that is well looked after and had everything you needed without having to go out and get it. Fantastic location hidden away with lovely fields for the dog to run around. Very fast and responsive host if any questions arise.
This house was very beautiful and big. There was more than enough room for the six of us and two dogs. Angela was very responsive when I asked any questions and very friendly. We rented this house for over Christmas and Angela was nice enough to put a Christmas tree up and a few Christmas decorations around the house! A lovely touch!
Langway is a modern and spacious barn conversion which was originally used to house farm cattle years ago, it’s over 200 years old, renovated from a derelict property back in 2018 retaining some of the original oak beams in all the rooms upstairs.
We are 10 minutes from junction 36, 4 miles from Kendal – market town and the gateway to the lakes, with easy access to Windermere and the south lakes as well as the Western dales. Visit popular local towns and villages including Sedbergh, Kirkby Lonsdale and Staveley just a short car journey away.
Ground Floor:-

Outside paved patio comes with table and chairs with lighting for sitting out in the evening enjoying the sound of the birds.
Living Room: Electric fire, 32” smart TV, chesterfield sofa and sofa bed and board games
Kitchen/Dining Room: washer/dryer, dishwasher, induction hob, electric oven, microwave, toaster, tassimo coffee machine, fridge and freezer, table and chairs for the family to sit round together – tea towels, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, tea, coffee and sugar are provided.
WC: Separate WC to the side of the kitchen complete with grab handles for wheelchair users.
Parking for a maximum of 2 cars
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: Double Bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, 24” smart TV and electric velux blinds on velux windows
Bedroom 2: 2 twin Beds, wardrobe, chest of drawer, 24” smart TV and electric velux blinds on velux windows

Bathroom: Bath, shower cubicle, toilet and heated towel rail – towels provided.
Round the corner of the property is open fields and a Wainwright walk that goes past the front door, local supermarkets are in Kendal (4 miles away), a little village shop/bakery in Endmoor (just over a 1 mile away). Local pub is within walking distance.
Well behaved dogs are very welcome.
Stair gates are available on request.
