We have a cabin nearby and were looking for "overflow" rooms for the April 8, 2024, eclipse. Lisa's AirBnB was a great value! The house is a small, older farmhouse, but we could tell there was a lot of care to update the inside while keeping the home's unique and rustic charm. Lisa was super proactive and responsive with communication, and we appreciated the baked goods and eclipse glasses in the kitchen. We used both bedrooms and the sleeper sofa. I normally don't sleep well on sleeper sofas, but the combination of fresh air and peace and quiet made for a great night's sleep. For a small group looking for a country getaway that's still close to Syracuse and a short drive to the eastern shores of Ontario, this is a great find. Thank you!

Staying at this vintage 1800s house was an absolute delight! The cozy atmosphere, coupled with all the listed amenities, made for a comfortable and memorable experience for my family and I. The property is large, offering ample space. We enjoyed the beautiful winter weather and snow moon while there. We would love to return during the spring or summer to explore more of the area. Our host was incredibly accommodating, responsive, and genuinely friendly, ensuring our stay was nothing short of perfect. The tranquil surroundings provided a peaceful escape, making it easy to relax. The house is conveniently located and easy to find. I highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone seeking a quiet and secluded retreat.

This is a great little place for a small family or friends getaway. The host is so caring and proactive! We had muffins in a basket on arrival and she even checked in to make sure everything was going ok. The home is as it is listed. It’s an older home and it has all the character that goes along with that. You can tell it’s a well loved place the owners took care to think of the details. For an older home that could be really dark the lighting is great. The kitchen is fully stocked. My family had a great week visiting our family! We will definitely come back to this place in the future!
