Brand new 2-bedroom apartment located in historic Capitol Hill. 5 blocks from the US Capitol, very walkable neighborhood with easy access to the best Washington DC has to offer: the National Mall, museums, the monuments, downtown DC, the Capitol Riverfront and it’s chic waterfront in Navy Yard, and the Wharf. You will also be close to all the action near the Washington Nationals and DC United Stadiums. Capitol South metro station and Whole Foods market are 2 blocks away. Feel at home in our modernly appointed English basement apartment. Bright and airy with an open-kitchen layout, 2 bedrooms, 2 queen beds, washer and dryer inside unit, dimmable lights in living area and kitchen, speedy wi-fi. Comes with exterior front patio sitting area.

This was our first Airbnb experience and we will absolutely do it again because of our host. Wolde gave very easy to follow instructions, and printed a parking pass for us as soon as we got the rental car. He even went above and beyond when we had a need come up. The place was very clean and the location cannot be beat. We could easily walk to the national mall and to the nationals park.
Modern, nicely renovated apt. GREAT location - 5 minute walk to subway and 10-30 minute walk to many of the monuments and museums. We didn't have or need a car. Wolde and Blaine are very responsive and accommodating.
Great spot! Small but not cramped, well appointed, clean. Couldn’t ask for a better location, 1 block from blue/orange/silver line metro stop, 1 block the other way to a Whole Foods and liquor store. Felt completely safe traveling with my young kids. No need for a car once you park, and Wolde sent a parking pass a week before our trip to avoid having to pay a meter on the block. Plenty of street parking.
Excellent location - 2 blocks to metro station, another 2 blocks to the Capitol, Library of Congress. So many walkable restaurants, grocery stores, sights, etc. We drove,parked our car out front on the safe quiet street, and never needed it. I wasn't sure what to expect of the neighborhood so close to capitol, but it is all beautiful brownstones, serene shaded sidewalks, parks. Excellent hosts. they were proactive in reaching out to us several times without being bothersome. Very friendly and kind. Apt was just as described and perfect for our needs. Slept soundly, could relax in the evenings, hot showers, and onsite laundry. We will absolutely stay here again! highly recommend.
Very very nice place. In a way kind of small esp bedrooms but much much more spacious than any similarly priced hotel. Great location walked to the mall every day plus a few Lyfts when we got tired. No complaints really. There were a lot of steps going in and out which wasn’t a problem for us but just FYI. Lovely neighborhood, enjoyed all the well behaved dogs in the area.

Located in the historic Capitol Hill neighborhood. 5 blocks from the US Capitol, the Supreme Court and the Library of Congress. Walking distance to many attractions, including the Smithsonian museums, the monuments, Eastern Market (which just marked its 150 years), many restaurants on/around Pennsylvania Ave and in Barracks’ Row. Walk to the Capitol Riverfront and all the actions in the Navy Yard neighborhood. Very close to the SW Waterfront as well.
2 blocks from the Capitol South metro stop, 10-15 minutes drive to Ronald Reagan National airport, plenty of alternatives to move you around, with an abundance of shared bikes and scooters. You can even get on a water taxi at the Wharf to go to Georgetown, Old Town Alexandria or National Harbor.
Street Parking - some sides of the streets require residents permit; we will be happy to print a parking pass for use during your stay, just let us know.
