Set in a fantastic position, The Dalton Bungalow is a picturesque two bedroom semi-detached bungalow. A modern open plan living space with lounge area, dining space and a fitted kitchen. A double bedroom which overlooks the large rear garden which enjoys afternoon sun. • 5 min drive to town centre shops • 15 min drive to Ormskirk / Edge Hill University • 5 min drive to Parbold The peaceful location on the outskirts of town has rural walks around the Beacon Country Park and Tawd Valley. There are two double bedrooms however currently only one has a bed which is a double. The other room is a spare empty room with no bed.

The Dalton Bungalow was a lovely place to stay. Everything was so fresh and new - it seemed like it had been built only yesterday. Katy was so helpful and friendly. We shall definitely want to come again.
Lovely bungalow, spotlessly clean with everything you could possible need. Would be so happy to book again when visiting the area.

We were at Katy's place for a weekend, intending to run the local parkrun which was cancelled at short notice. We were able to go to another local one, so not a problem. The accommodation was ideal for our needs. Katy had left treats. The bungalow was was well furnished and there was all you needed in terms of crockery and cutlery. We had a great meal at The Fat Italian which was on Katy's recommendations. We walked into Skelmersdale when we arrived - not easy as app gave directions by road and there are no pavements. There are walkways, but signposting is not good. Everyone was very friendly though and gave us directions. We got the bus back! Stops just round the corner. Also visited Rufford Old Hall - well worth a visit.

The Dalton Bungalow is situated on the outskirts of Skelmersdale bordering the small rural village of Newburgh.
There’s a lovely cafe and coffee shop called Post located in Newburgh in the Post Office.
There’s also a lovely cafe in Parbold a short drive away called Your is the Earth located along the canal for lovely walks. Along with some lovely pubs for a spot of lunch!
There is a children’s park located just across the road.
The town centre is a short distance away with supermarkets like Asda, Lidl and a small local affordable cinema.
The beacon country park is a 10min walk away with some gorgeous countryside views. Situated on the edge of the tawd valley there are many local walks nearby.
This is a new build estate so some building traffic can be expected although it’s not too disruptive.
Double parking space located on the driveway in front is free and has electric charging port.
