Welcome to the bungalow! Our home offers a warm and inviting stay in the countryside of West Lancashire. With two generous bedrooms, a spacious kitchen, bathroom, and a living room all on one level, the bungalow offers a home-from-home experience for any of our guests. The property has space for two cars and comes with a fully enclosed, private back garden which is a beautiful sun trap in the spring and summer months! Excellent location with access to 2 train stations and many local amenities. Spacious rooms with ample storage. Modern decor throughout and enclosed rear garden- great for dogs! There is an outdoor tap for any muddy paws and a small utility room complete with a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Excellent communication before and during our stay. Sophie and her husband are friendly, efficient and professional. The welcome pack was one of the best we've ever had (and we've used a lot of AirBnBs!). The house was spotlessly clean and extremely well maintained. Furnishings, bedding and towels are high quality; the bed was exceptionally comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. Wifi was always available and a good speed; the large TV and comfortable settee made evenings a relaxing pleasure. The heating was very efficient and we always felt warm. There was plenty of hot water on demand and a powerful shower. Sophie was kind enough to allow our dogs and both front and back gardens are secure enough even for our escape artists. Providing a rug for the dogs was one of a number of thoughtful touches. Our stay was family related and at times very stressful. To have the bungalow to return to at night after an often emotional day was such a relief. Thank you, Sophie!
An absolute home from home. We live locally but needed somewhere for one month. So glad we found ‘ The Bungalow’.
This house was perfect for our stay to visit family. Sophie was a very considerate host and had clearly put a lot of effort into decorating the house. The enclosed garden was great for our dog. Thank you for a lovely stay.
The bungalow is a modern spacious place to stay, fixtures and fittings are tasteful and bedding crisp and fresh. Good size rooms. Good there’s a tv in each bedroom too, although we were so tired from our trip with visiting family locally pre Christmas 🎄 we didn’t really use them this time. Nice thoughtful touch of milk, bread, biscuits & crisps if needed. Parking right outside on the private drive. Would definitely stay again. Owner was friendly.
A great, problem free stay when visiting nearby family. Garden was great for the dogs, house was comfy with some thoughtful welcoming touches for both humans and dogs - thank you for the dog treats!

A lovely quiet neighbourhood, close to village amenities and the Leeds to Liverpool canal.
There is plenty of free parking around the village. There is also two train stations and many bus stations just a short walk for the bungalow.
