A lovely, well presented and clean cottage with bags of character. The bed was extremely comfortable and the welcome hamper was perfect. It’s in a great location just a very short walk from the beautiful village. We had great communication with the owners and it all made for a perfect weekend.
absolutely lovely stay - we love the area and have been there multiple times but this was our first stay at this AirBnb. Its the perfect balance of traditional building with more modern fixtures and fittings. The bedroom was lovely and roomy with the bathroom adjacent being spacious and clean. My wife was especially impressed with the bath. Matthew as a host was extremely responsive prior to our stay and even accommodated a slightly earlier check-in which was massively appreciated. The icing on the amazing stay was the extremely generous welcome package of biscuits and cake (which was ridiculously good by the way!). All in all I don't think it could've been better. 10/10.
Like living in a piece of history with a cool vibe. Loved it. Matthew even gave us a family size cake to enjoy on arrival. Very very happy.
This is a beautiful cottage, with extremely good quality fittings and furnishings. We loved the location in the heart of the village and were delighted with the very generous welcome gifts consisting of local food and bath products. Matthew was very attentive and provided lots of useful local information in advance of our stay. We would love to visit and stay again. A wonderful cottage.
We had a lovely 2 night stay at blacksmiths cottage, we felt right at home straight away and the goodies Matthew left for us were very much appreciated! Prior to our stay Matthew got in touch to recommend some restaurants and activities which was really useful as we are not from the area. The kitchen was well equipped for what we needed. The bathroom was beautiful and plenty of hot water! The location of the cottage is perfect, short walk to multiple cafes, pubs and restaurants. We will definitely be back!
