Etlan · 整套小木屋 · 3室3床2.0卫 · 可住6人 · Stay Near Old Rag/White Oak Falls - Cozy Log Cabin
Nestled amid the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Archer’s Ridge welcomes you to explore Shenandoah National Park and beyond. You’re just a quick 10-15 minute drive to White Oak Canyon and Old Rag Mountain trailheads, two of Virginia's premier hiking destinations. After you've enjoyed the trails, return to the treetops of the Ridge to unwind surrounded by the warm wood tones of our log cabin, or pop down to the local winery less than a mile away. See more of the cabin on IG @archers_ridge The main living space on the first floor is both open and cozy. In the living room you’re welcomed by the large stone fireplace, comfy seating, TV with Roku streaming and a large DVD collection, books, board games, and puzzles. The dining area has seating for four and the table can be expanded to fit eight. Our well-stocked kitchen has all the pots, pans, and pantry essentials to cook any meals during your stay, or take things outside and grill out on our three-burner gas grill. On the coffee bar we'll provide enough K-cups to get you started, plan to bring your own beans or K-cups if you'll need your caffeine fix for longer stays or larger groups! Upstairs you’ll find two bedrooms with queen-sized beds. The morning sun-filled front bedroom features a walk-out balcony with comfy swing chair: a haven for sunrise coffee rituals. If you're sensitive to morning sunlight, we'd recommend getting your beauty sleep in the upstairs back bedroom with it's single northwest-facing window. The third bedroom, on the main floor, also stays nice and dark for light-sensitive guests, and includes a comfortable full-sized bed and desk nook for quiet work sessions. The full bathroom upstairs includes a shower/tub combo. You’ll find the half bath on the main floor, as well a bonus shower stall in the laundry room, which also houses—you guessed it—our washer and dryer. Outside, there’s plenty of space to relax on our brand new wrap-around deck. Dine alfresco on the deck with seating for 6-8, or gather around the Solo Stove fire pit for a night of stories and s’mores.
Stephanie is the consummate host! The cabin was beautiful, spotless, and a great value. It was the ideal location for a reunion with a couple of friends for the weekend. She provided lots of fantastic recommendations for activities in the local area, and we left feeling rested and rejuvenated!
Awesome place. Very peaceful location close to Shenandoah. Lots of great restaurants and we had a great time! Thank you!!
Very nice and comfortable home in a beautiful setting. It was a relaxing weekend. I was surprised and very pleased to see they have a couple of yoga mats. All went well. We enjoyed the hiking trails and winery nearby. I hope to stay there again in the future.
Stephanie and Zach were great hosts and their mountain home is the perfect place if you love nature and beautiful surroundings. Their home is nestled in the woods like a treehouse. We were there to hike Old Rag, a short drive. Note that you do have to drive 15-20 minutes for restaurants, but Sperryville is worth the short and beautiful drive. We would highly recommend their comfy mountain home!
The cabin sits on a pretty quiet lane that is home to a combination of weekenders and full-time residents. Situated on the very top of the ridge, in line with the tree tops and above all the other homes on our road, you'll feel secluded from the rest of the neighbors without feeling *too* isolated.
If you're looking to get out and about during your visit, there's no shortage of things to do in the Shenandoah area! The cabin is less than a mile from DuCard Vineyards, 2.5 miles from Graves Mountain Lodge, 5 miles from Lower Whiteoak Canyon Falls Trailhead, 8 miles from the Old Rag Ranger Station Parking, and 21 miles from the Thornton Gap entrance station to Shenandoah National Park. We're just 11 miles to the town of Madison and 14 mi to the town of Sperryville and all the local wineries, breweries, restaurants and shopping they have to offer.
Plenty of parking for up to four vehicles in the driveway. Etlan is completely rural, so plan to hop in the car for at least a 15-20 minute ride to get to where you're going. Be sure to load your GPS while still in range of the Wifi, as cell service in Madison and the surrounding counties is pretty hard to come by.

I'm Steph, a world-exploring photographer and design aficionado. I love long road trips and seeking out the best tacos in whatever city I find myself. I never mind a solo trip but also revel in adventuring with Zach and exploring as many National Parks together as possible. My favorite travels so far? A week-long excursion where we lived in a van and explored southern Utah.
