Relax and enjoy a peaceful getaway up north at this cozy wooded cabin! Less than 2 hours from Minneapolis, this cabin is perfect for a weekend getaway up to 4 guests. Located on a lake in a pine wood forest, take advantage of the patio, grilling, fire pit, and more Pet friendly for 1 dog, we love ours too! Local finds include a cidery, winery, casino, great fishing, local bars and more Checkout our Insta @northwoodstays_ The Space: Inside includes a entry way closet, ground level bathroom, living room, master bedroom, dining room, and kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked and includes everything from a rice cooker to mini waffle maker. Overlooking this space is a beautiful loft, stairs hand cut and made by hand. This 1 bedroom + loft is perfect for a group of 4 or less! The Loft: The lofted bedroom requires you to climb steep stairs (as shown in pictures). Children should be supervised and adults should ttake safety precautions. This room may not be accessible for everyone. The Kitchen: Enjoy the cleanest water with our reverse osmosis system and water softener. The Land: Cabin is located on 6 acres of land overlooking a Northern MN lake. Note- cabin is located in the woods, but is near the road. Docks: We have a dock that suits walking and launching non motorized watercraft such as paddleboards, kayaks, canoes. We have a canoe onsite available for use during summer, but feel free to bring other items you have to enjoy! Life jackets must be worn. This dock does not suit motorized watercraft and cannot dock a boat. There is a public access down the road that you are free to access the lake with and enjoy all your activities! The Lake: Note: waterfront and lakeshore varies year to year depending on water levels and local flooding/drought conditions. The lake is not always accessible from the cabin but is from the public access nearby. Firepit: We have a firepit area for your use. It has 4 chairs that are stacked on the deck (so they don't blow away!). There is wood stacked near the shed for your use. Fire pit and furniture are removed during winter months. TV: we have two smart TVs available for your use. One in the ground level bedroom and one in the living room. Netflix is available for you, but feel free to sign into your favorite streaming sites! We provide several toiletries, but we would suggest you bring the following: *Extra blankets - we just provide bedding *Beach Towels *Bug spray + tick prevention *Paper Towel (we provide 1) *Toilet Paper (we provide 2 extra rolls) Guests are not allowed in the on-site shed or under the kitchen sink.
