Marcos is the friendliest, most helpful host. This little house is in the perfect location with everything literally on your doorstep. The house is really comfortable, with a clever use of space. Nice big very comfortable bed, lovely bathroom with a nice big walk in shower, lots of big towels and all the things you would need in the kitchen for self catering including a Nespresso coffee machine! Smart TV with Netflix, Apple etc. The house has a rooftop terrace with chairs and a table - it's the perfect spot for relaxing at the end of a day. It's a spiral staircase that leads to it so those with limited mobility might struggle with it but can be accessed with care. It's in the perfect location for exploring Funchal. There's free swimming access at The Old Fort located just a stones throw away (all the other places charge you to get in the sea). There's a great range of restaurants offering many different cuisines. Thank you Marcos for making this a really wonderful honeymoon!!

Great location and host to match. Very clear instructions to follow. Met us at the flat at exactly the time agreed. Flat spotless. Kitchen. Towels. Extra pillows. Linen was changed when we were there which was a lovely surprise. Great recommendations for the local area. Took the transfer back and was very easy. All in all loved the area, the flat and the host to match! Thanks Marcos! I’m sure we will come again.

Very well located and walking distance to everything you need! Marcus was a good host and picked us up at the airport quite late after our flight got rerouted due to weather. I don’t know if the price was right but I liked the personal touch and the tops during the ride! Bed was comfy and we loved the roof patio. Water could be quite smelly and lacks a bit of aeration but we enjoyed overall…
