Our stay in the bell tent was fantastic! It was so nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of life for a few days. The tent is situated in the most lovely old orchard with sheep roaming around. The shower, although outdoors, is a lovely temperature and everything was spotless. We failed to spot the part about the postcode leading straight to the top of the drive (should have read the listing more thoroughly!) Follow the postcode given and you’ll find yourself on the driveway of a farm nearby and this leads to the orchard. We highly recommend Tibbs Farm cafe for some truly yummy food. It’s clean, staff are attentive and the views are stunning! Whilst there is electricity, we took a mobile power bank for our phones and a small gas stove to boil a camping kettle just in case. If getting away from it all is what you are after but still with some home comforts then this place will fit the bill perfectly!

We stayed for two nights at the end of August. Although it rained in one night we we were dry and cosy inside the tent. Nice breakfast at cafe and dinner at pub- be prepared for uphill walk. Very relaxing time spent reading and sharing our orchard with the inquisitive sheep.

Really enjoyed our stay. Such a peaceful spot with great amenities. A clever little shower which was just right and the tent was very comfortable for us and our dog. We took our own wood for the fire and a small gas stove for cups of tea. Tibbs Farm Cafe is a lovely walk through the hop fields - a great breakfast. The Plough has excellent fish and chips and good beer. Overall a really nice little break and it says something that we wanted to come here when we only live 3 miles away. It's one of the nicest spots in a lovely valley just outside of Rye. Thanks Philip. Back soon!
