Maria's place is wonderful and huge. There are restaurants and mini-mark at a walkable distance. The view is great.

Maria and her husband were very welcoming, helpful and accommodating. The house is a historical "chateau fort" and you really live on one main floor. The view is beautiful and the terrace is very pleasant and enjoyable. We were looking at other houses on the island and it was certainly one of the best ones. We loved the location because everything was very close and this location is very central on the island. Even the most remote location is about one hour drive away. I have been to many places and the most spectacular views I have seen were on this island. Do not miss Lagoa do Fogo and of course the hikes on the western part of the island. Maria and her husband had many good recommendations. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful time at this spacious, enchanting Airbnb in the Azores, Portugal. The old and beautiful house boasted breathtaking sea views, making it a truly magical experience. The hosts were incredibly communicative and made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommended!

Maria was incredibly accommodating, flexible, responsive, and kind. She offered both early check-in and late check-out. When it was pouring outside she messaged to offer suggestions for rainy day activities. She’s a really wonderful host. The house is also in a great location. It feels like a retreat with beautiful grounds and immaculate ocean views while being close to a number of places we wanted to go. We can’t recommend it highly enough.

We were a group of 8 adults and the place was just perfect for us. We enjoyed the spacious premises with the wonderful sea-view terrace very much. Maria and Francisco were wonderful and very responsive to our questions. They welcomed us personally at the venue even though we arrived after midnight and explained everything we needed to know. The house is perfectly located to explore all areas of the wonderful island.
