Fox Cottage was centrally located in the beautiful town of Helmsley.Ben answered m y questions immediately and sent information on dog walks as requested. The cottage is cosy with a lovely fir that we lit every night. The kitchen is easy to cook in and has everything you would need.We also ate out ,all within walking distance . The cottage was clean even we arrived and very welcoming . Overall a great stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Fox Cottage. Ben was a highly responsive host and it was very easy to check in. The cottage itself is charming and very well kept and we felt right at home straight away. In case it is helpful to others considering the property, we were also working part of the time we stayed and the wifi and space enabled both me and my husband to take calls and do the other things we needed very easily. The cottage is very well situated for Helmsley with the Co-Op and lovely restaurants like the Trattoria just a few minutes walk away. You are right at the start of the beautiful walk to Rievaulx too and very close to the open air swimming pool. All in all a lovely cottage and we look forward to returning.

Lovely location, traffic a bit nosier in the morning with lorries and tractors passing through. Right next to the window Ben the host was fantastic with all communications and very helpful.

A lovely place to stay in a great location!
