Looking at staying at the RedNeck Ranch? This place is a one of a kind unique stay. With the environmentally clean off the grid footprint. The cabin has its own power with solar and batteries. The generator will automatically start when more power is required and the batteries need charging. Water comes from a well and stored in large underground water tanks. There are portable evaporative coolers to help cool down the cabin on hot days. This cabin has an open floor space to enjoy the company of your group. There are 2 bedrooms in the main living area. One has a queen bed and the other has two bunks with a full on the bottoms with plenty of headroom for adults. There is also an attached RV which adds one more queen bed and a futon. The cabin is located on 9+ acres and some swear that we’ve seen bigfoot runnin round hear. If you like to explore, just off the property you can find some old Indian house ruins. Some of them are hard to get to. Others you can see right from the dirt roads.

Can’t say enough good things about Brett’s place. It was quiet, clean and had all the amenities of everyday living. You honestly won’t notice that it’s off-grid. Plenty of hot water and everything else. The cabin sits right up against public land for excellent access. This is a one of a kind place if you are looking to truly relax in the quiet and enjoy the beautiful outdoors of southern Utah. Brett was an excellent host and reached out quickly if we had any questions. If you’re in the area, this is the place to stay!
Our stay at Redneck Ranch was great! The cabin is secluded with beautiful views. Our dogs could roam free and even the neighbor dogs came over a few times to visit! We were able to ride our ATV around the property as well! The only thing that didn't exactly match the description is the 2 bathrooms listed. There were 2 bathrooms, but the bathroom in the attached trailer didn't have a toilet. We had 5 people so there was some waiting around to use the bathroom when people were showering and stuff, but it wasn't that big of a deal! Would definitely stay here again!

Nice and funky cabin! My family and I enjoyed our stay and we would stay again. Nice, secluded location, the road to it is a little rough, but no issues getting there. Everything is as describe in the listing.
This location is.... Amazing! First off, don't let the "off grid" aspect concern you! We had ample electricity, propane and hot potable water for a big group of guys! Everything was seamless and all of the facilities worked just like "back home". Second, this location is beautiful! Red rock canyons, green valleys, maybe even some ancient dwellings nearby for the adventurous soul! Far enough from town to have clear dark skies. Third, very well appointed kitchens. Two coffee makers, dozens of plates bowls etc. Cant speak highly enough of this place! If you want to see the Abajo mountains and the Canyon lands while avoiding the crowds and costs of Moab, this is the spot!

Open BLM land adjacent to our property. There are many areas to hike and see Indian ruins. There are countless off road 4x4 trails for jeeps and ATVs/Side by Sides.
The cabin is secluded down 2.5 miles of dirt road from the highway. Not recommended for compact or sport cars.
