We spent 6 days in paradise here. The location is superb and the scenery and coral straight out from the homestay are fantastic. Ruci and Mali and their family are friendly and very attentive. The food coming from the kitchen is generous and tasty. Come here for a true Fijian island village experience, it is rustic but if that comes with the authenticity of the experience. Well worth it for the long lasting memories you will take home.

Nice family to stay with. Rustic house on the beach. Pretty comfortable with the fan. Just the mattress was too soft to me, I didn’t sleep well but my boyfriend did (depends on people). The toilets could be cleaner.

Mali picked us up at Lautuka warf. Be prepared to be asked to pay the 150$ transfer fee in advance. That is how it works and totally understandable when getting used to the Fiji style. The boat ride was an awsome experience even tho in a way smaller boat as aspected. You stay in the middle of this very kind and friendly family. Privacy is ok, but you might want to bring ear plugs. The beach is beautiful and snorkeling a blast. We even saw sharks when snorkeling at the reef in front of the beach. The food was served on a table for all homestay guests, self made and plenty. We liked our stay in an authentic Fijian island style!
