I had a wonderful stay with Lucy‘s family and I felt like a part of the community. The whole village was extremly kind and warm which made this trip an unforgetable experience!

It was a short but nice time spent at Lucy’s. The meal was tasty and a big portion as well. The family is very kind and all villagers were friendly. Lusiana and her husband were very helpful specially informing us that a cyclone is coming and helping us to get on main island asap. Don’t forget to bring some Kava for the chief 😉

Check-in and communication with Lusi was perfect. The accomodation is great if you want to get a glimpse into true fijin village life. The village and the surroundings are beautiful, everyone was welcoming. The food Lusi cooked for us was delicious - fresh fish almost every day! On the flipside the accomodation was really very rural and the room as well as the bathroom were different to the pictures due to some renovation happening at Lusis house. This was not communicated in advance. Make sure to bring enough bottled water (or some water treatment tablets) for your stay - they drink the tapwater. All in all it was a good value for the money for a rural experience but do be aware that the accomodation is very basic.

We had a lovely time with Lusiana and her whole family. They were all super welcoming and made us feel comfortable. Everyone in the village said Bula to us and was happy to have a chat and welcome us. The dinners were delicious and Lucy didn’t mind accomodating our dietary needs.

Absolutely excellent host. She welcomed me into her home as if I was a part of her family. Her village also welcomed me in the same way. Comfortable bed, clean house and delicious food. I would fully recommend (unless you need high speed, 100% reliable internet which was my only issue). 10/10 would recommend to stay here.
