Fun space to stay the night after exploring Portland and Freeport. Cute and quiet campground. Communication was pertinent though slightly excessive. If staying during colder months, bring blankets and clothing to keep warm in case the space heater provided can’t compete with the frigid temperatures.

If your looking for a glamping experience, great. Make sure to bring everything you need to cook and all toiletries. We stayed from Sunday-Wed and overall experience was nice but there were a few things that didnt meet our expectations. 1. I would recommend looking at the Dessert of Maine website first before booking. It shows a more accurate description of the location and other cabins available on sight. In the pictures, this place looked more remote and we were slightly disappointed it was not. They have more remote cabins but everyone is next to each other in a close shared campground. However, it was quiet and no one was disruptive. 2. The place is heated with a space heater and it might have been broken because it said 81 but it did not get past 65 degrees and we were cold the whole time. 3. We received a ton of messages from Doug regarding checkin and out, but when I reached out for something we needed (more towels) I never got a response.

I really enjoyed my stay in the Escape A frame. The campground was very peaceful, the accommodations were nicely thought out, and I would definitely stay again!
