This is the bottom unit in a historic unique duplex home with tons of character. It is an 11 minute walk to the river and a 15 minute walk to the Wilmington Downtown Riverwalk. Located along a nice stretch of shops and businesses including a great brunch restaurant and coffee house. Pets are allowed with a $50 pet fee per pet (more for stays longer than 4 days). You must mention your pet or pets in the welcome message and pay the fees anytime after booking and before check-in. This is a 2 bedroom 1.5 bath 700 square foot unit on the 1st floor. A nice front porch, outdoor sitting area, and a small off-street parking spot are shared. Guests staying in upstairs unit are told several times to be aware of noise and to observe quiet hours, but please be aware that you'll be able to hear footsteps from upstairs unit. PLEASE READ: This is an Historic older house so please keep in mind while it has tons of character and charm, this is by no means new or modern. While the appliances are updated, it has many older components and aspects that come along with older houses, such as uneven levels and softer spots in floors. It generally looks more worn out and run down than remodeled or newer builds. Some doors, door knobs, fireplace mantles, etc are original to the building. There are nicks and marks on walls and floor of unit. It is clean, inviting and nicely decorated, but this is a relatively budget place for the location, so if you are looking for high quality with few imperfections, this is not it.
