Amazing few days a Fernihurst castle. Lovely accommodation in picturesque surroundings. Close enough to explore Jedburgh and Edinburgh easily. Lovely welcome basket provided thank you. Ian was a absolute gentleman and star in making us feel welcome and giving us a tour of the castle. We were impressed with the level of cleanliness, it was immaculate and all the essentials had been thought of. Thank you for a wonderful stay, im sure we will be back in the future x

The castle made us feel that we were stepping into a small piece of history. The castle is referenced a lot in other places in town due to its historical relevance. Primarily the Kerr family influence on the town. I do wish there was more information on the history there when you stay there. That way you can understand the history of the property and know when the house was built and see what/ when sections were added on to the original tower.
