The perfect, peaceful, country paradise. Really takes you back in time even though there’s a mobile tower close by so reception is the best I’ve ever had it! Sitting on the rocking chair listening to Donovan on the record player, stoking the hobo hot tub with fire wood until it’s ready for a soak, sipping on local real cider from the local pub, over looking rolling hills, grazing horses and not a soul to be seen. Lush! The complimentary eggs, dog treats and sanitary products were very much appreciated! And Louise stocks a little honesty shop with gorgeous pickles, preserves and quiches. If you don’t mind getting your hands dirty and embrace the camping/glamping lifestyle then this is nirvana. I am definitely coming back again! Thanks Louise.

Absolutely beautiful location, and Louise was brilliant in giving me tips on local walks. I have a dog that’s very reactive to traffic so this location was perfect. He was able to roam around the wooded area and I knew he was safe. Such a peaceful few nights. Will definitely return!

The Lost Caravan, is a unique place. For those who love rustic surroundings, nature and peace it will be ideal. Louise is a fantastic warm and helpful lady and the best host you could find.

Louise is a fantastic host, and the Lost Caravan is a beautiful, off grid retreat. Me, my partner and dog loved it. The area is beautiful and there are plenty of places to visit on foot if you don’t mind a walk! 100% would recommended for anyone who is happy to build a fire and relax in nature!

We had a wonderful stay at the Lost Caravan! The setting is beautiful - you are in your own private wood overlooking the fields and feel like you are truly away from the world. We loved using the hot outdoor shower and sitting it the hot tub in the evening. Sadly we had so much rain and wind that we couldn't use the fire pit, but despite the rain we had a great time relaxing in the van and outside when we could (and the local pub is great). The bed is also extremely comfortable! Louise is an incredible host and goes above and beyond - we had trouble getting the hot tub going, and she came down in the pouring rain to help us! The hamper of homemade vegan goods was also amazing. Thankyou!
