There are many National Forest access points for your UTV/ATV in the near surrounding areas in lieu of being on the New Mexico & Colorado border. - Both El Vado and Heron Lakes in New Mexico are a nice 15-30 minute drive from the property to hike, bike, fish, kayak, or boat. Trujillo Meadows Reservoir is a 30 minute drive across the border into Colorado for great views and trout fishing. - Pagosa Springs, CO is a stunning tranquil 50 minute gentle mountain drive from Chama to experience the best natural hot springs resort and some awesome restaurants.
