Lovely cabin retreat! We stayed here for 6 weeks and loved getting to know the host. What a cool farm setting, and really close to a lot of great shopping and essentials. Hoping to stay here again next year. No TV and the mattresses could use upgrading, but otherwise we loved it!

Arrived to find a trailer in the front yard, with someone living in it. No key inside and when I finally got a response on where it was she said her property manager forgot? House had bugs everywhere, including the bed kitchen. There was food out on the counters and in the fridge. Would not recommend. I understand it’s the country but everyone that was on our trip lives in the country and on farms too but we do not have big issues like that.

Great stay! Brenda's cabin was perfect for our needs. The house is just as described. Many little touches around the house to look at and read. Our kids loved watching the chickens wander around the property. The AC units and fans were enough to keep the house comfortable for sleeping. Other reviews were also accurate. The parking is a bit from the front of the house, not a problem for us but could be for someone with some mobility issues. The house is in a country setting, that means country bugs, dirt, critters. But also means beautiful sky, gorgeous views, and peacefulness! We enjoyed our stay and will be back!

This place is so cool! Eclectic, rustic, and full of history. The farm on which it is located is beautiful as well. We had a blast reading all of the interesting history/travel notes left by the host, and seeing the chickens roaming about.

I’m sorry to say that as soon as we arrived we had to leave. The place was not clean. There were tons of mice (you can hear them) and mice droppings on the kitchen counter and other places in the home. To make a long story short we decided to drive the extra 6 hours to nyc after driving 10 instead of staying here. I’m very sorry for this review but I’m just being honest. Brenda seemed very sweet and the land is gorgeous, I just would have wished it to be clean.
