This place is exactly what we were looking for. Out of town but near the nice resort beaches and restaurants. The room was very clean and exactly as described. Unfortunately there were no bikes to rent and the pool was sandy so nobody was using it. Amazing lounge area though and would stay again! Especially if there are bikes since it's a very hot walk to town and getting a taxi can be difficult. Would recommend, the host, Peggy, was extremely helpful and helped us with anything we needed as wel as organizing a shuttle to Placencia with 2 other people that were doing the same thing. Thanks.

There was a mix up with Air bnb and Emily’s place was overlooked. We were placed in the neighbours house. Emily did what she could to help. She was very nice. We had no internet and no TV. We were issued a refund ( which we didn’t ask for) for the inconvenience and accommodation not being what we expected. We did not get to see the actual accommodation we booked. The pool was refreshing, but could use a resurfacing as the concrete is rough. There are really nice restaurants within walking distance. You definitely need a golf cart to go to the center it’s a long ways away.

Overall we had a good stay. The room matches the photos but the outdoor area with the pool is much much smaller than it looks and abit dirty I don’t think you’d want to swim. Check in was really flexible because the host lives on site but I didn’t feel it was very informative as we weren’t aware of how to access filtered water and the bike accessibility which we heard on reviews. Communication about getting a taxi into town was pretty slow and meant we weren’t sure if we were going to make our bus however she did offer to take us in the morning but we couldn’t get hold of her to confirm anything. The location is about a 30 minute walk from Hopkins town centre, and the easiest way to get there is the bicycles. We were probably unlucky because the weather wasn’t great but if it was sunnier there are lots of high end resorts on the beach front minutes away which allow you access to beaches and you can use their bar and restaurant facilities while chilling on the beach.

Wir haben uns bei Peggy sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Cabanas sind gemütlich und sind mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Toll war die Möglichkeit mit dem Rad ins Dorf zu fahren. Leider hat es viel geregnet aber bei Sonne ist der Pool zum Erfrischen sicher toll und es sind schöne Strände in der Nähe. Es gibt auch ein paar sehr gute Restaurants in Laufweite. Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung!
