We had a lovely 2 night break at the cottage. it was a very neat, clean property and had everything that we could possibly need. Both nights we cooked a evening meal and the kitchen had all the usual things we would require. Certainly felt like home from home. My husband did enjoy the log fire, however it certainly was warm enough not to light lol but it was a novelty. There is adequate heating installed at the property without having to light the fire.. We went with parents so the fact there weren't pubs in close proximity for walking was not a problem. We went into Builth Wells and Llandridnod Wells and came back early evenings where we were comfortable enough and played dominoes. It was exactly what we needed. a place to recharge batteries and spend quality time as a family.

This is the second time we have stayed at Maggie's cottage. It's in a quiet spot, with lovely views. It's great you can park so close to the cottage, makes carrying bags etc indoors an easy job. The cottage is warm & well equipped. Maggie is very easy to contact & quick to respond if you have any questions. I would be very happy to book again.

As soon as we opened the door to the cottage, we were greeted with the log burning fire which instantly made us feel at home. This feeling never leaves you as you walk about the place. Maggie ensured we were well catered for and any questions were instantly answered. This is a great home from home with lots to explore in the surrounding areas. We would definitely not hesitate to come back in the future.

Fabulous little place in a stunning area - Maggie was very helpful and friendly. The fire had been lit upon our arrival which was a wonderful homely touch. Definitely will book again for future visits. Thank you!
