The flat is damp - there is mould everywhere and there is a pungent damp smell throughout. The flat was also dirty - greasy, dusty surfaces and floor. There are marks all over the walls - decor has seen better days. We chose to spend as little time as possible there. Checked out first thing and sent the host pictures. She justified the pictures by saying it was damp bc it’s a basement flat, and the bathroom is due to be replaced. It’s not just the bathroom that’s mouldy. She said she would pass on feedback to cleaners about hygiene. It’s a decent location and the communication prior to our last conversation was excellent. However I would not return or recommend this stay until the property has been updated.

I have had to stay in quite a few Airbnbs in Margate recently and this one is my favourite. A lovely, well thought out flat, with a very cute outside area. Plus, some lovely touches in the flat, such as bathrobes and an honesty snack bar!

Lovely place for a weekend in Margate, lots of little touches to go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. All amenities thought about and provided. Would 1000% recommend

We throughly enjoyed our stay. Great host. Loved the fireplace. Felt cosy and at home and very close to all amenities, but was set back far enough from the beachfront to make it feel more private. Great touch adding a bottle of wine and dog treats especially as we had to add the doggo on at the last minute, really great service. There were a few issues with damp that need to be addressed but every other aspect gets 5 stars.
