The house is lovely with a primary suite on the first floor and four bedrooms on second floor. The decor is eclectic and whimsical with beautiful art by Eric throughout. It was very comfortable with a big yard for the five children to play in. Edward was wonderfully responsive. Be aware that, even though there is beach at the end of the street, it is private beach. It is an easy walk to the public beach of about five blocks. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Its a very quick drive to the local grocery and restaurants. All in all, we had a great family vacation - although we could have done without the jelly fish 😉.

The home is beautiful with lots of room to move around and for privacy. We found every item we needed in the large, well-stocked kitchen, which we used every day we were there. Please note, and it does not detract from the home, bring plastic containers if you have items that ants can get into. Or maybe my next visit, I'll eat out more instead! Anyway, the grass needed cut due to recent rainfall, but Edward reached out to his lawn service, so I was able to enjoy the yard with my dog during my last two nights there, because those mosquitoes were definitely lying in wait for my ankles and calves. Overall, the home is spacious and clean, within walking distance to the beach and convenience store, and perfect if you need the space for 5+ guests and a dog!!

Edward’s place worked great for our extended family. Good space and it was nice to have several rooms to hang out. While the grandkids played games some of the adults spread out to different corners to read. The kids enjoyed croquet in the backyard too. The kitchen table became the kids table and dining room was perfect for the grownups! It’s a lovely neighborhood to walk or ride bikes.

We had an excellent time with our extended family at White Point Manor. The house was spacious with many places for people to do different activities separately or together. The many bathrooms were especially nice after the beach! We found everything we needed in the kitchen and throughout the house. It was our first time in Colonial Beach and it was perfect for our family. We made the couple minute drive to the beach and found easy parking rather than walking. Walking distance to coffee, ice cream, and Colonial Beach Brewing. We’ll definitely be back!
