Het huis is ruim, goede keuken, heerlijk dat er een buitendouche is. En voorzien van strandstoelen e.d. Inrichting kaal, verlichting niet prettig. Bank oncomfortabel, veel te diep, slecht voor je rug. Naast een heerlijke masterbedroom valt de 2e slaapkamer wel erg tegen, huis niet geschikt voor 2 personen die ieder een eigen slaapkamer willen. Het lawaai van route 6 is luid, jammer als je rustig buiten wil ontbijten. Voor het verkennen van Cape Cod is deze centrale locatie wel heel geschikt. Instructies voor AC en Koffie apparaat zouden handig zijn, evenals een gedetailleerde kaart van Cape Cod, met overzicht van natuurgebieden, wandel- en fietsroutes en uitleg over de regels rond parkeren bij stranden. Tenslotte: ik had moeite met de enorme lijst voorwaarden voor de gasten, alsof ik erop uit ben spullen te ruineren. Het vloerkleed onder de eettafel was vol gaten doordat de poten van de stoelen erin bleven haken. Ik viel erover. Gelukkig werd het meteen verwijderd toen ik dat vroeg.

We loved our stay this past week. This home was perfect for our family of four. The house was very comfortable and had great spaces for relaxing outdoors, dining, and watching movies/TV. The location was better than we expected. It’s conveniently located near the bike path and the Orleans rotary - providing quick access to great dining and the Cape Cod National seashore.

This is a decent old cape cod cottage, I would guess it was renovated a decade ago, the property is nicely landscaped, actually the landscaper was parked in the driveway 3 out of the 6 days we were there. The house was very clean, the kitchen was spotless and just about everything you might need was stocked, nice coffee pot, the living room was big enough, a nice dining table, a very nice backyard with outside seating, gas grill, privacy. The bathroom was very clean, and in nice shape. The beds were comfortable. The AC was on and we stepped into a nice cool house. If you are a small family, or a couple and want the old cape cod experience, you could consider this place. It is not really setup for 2 adult couples as the second bedroom is kids bunk beds, but if you are a small family, this is the place. Del Mar is quick to respond to texts or email. Things to note…the host supplies only one towel per bed, keep this in mind when packing for a week, there is a nice washer-dryer .

We enjoyed our stay. The home was clean and had plenty of amenities. We would stay again.
