You will not regret booking this cabin! It is private and peaceful. It's got everything you need and more, from towels to kitchenware. Super easy to find and clear instructions on everything. Our favorite part was the river access! My dog learned the path quickly and insisted on going back everyday. You can see and hear the river from the front cover porch. We were there through the 4th of July holiday and the cabin was decorated, as a person who loves to decorate for holidays, that gesture went a long way for me. We felt right at home and did not want to leave. BUT we will be back!

The Big Oak house immediately felt cozy and clean. The location is beautiful and the decks all around the house really make the space. The little “beach” by the river is absolutely lovely and this year we could even dip into the cool, clear water. The tree by the river is perfect for a 6-year old to climb around in. The location is fairly remote; about a 20-minute drive to nearest market and there is no Wi-Fi, which actually enhanced the experience! We definitely enjoyed our stay and recommend it!
