If you're interested in seeing at least one eagle a day and having full-time access to a stunning beach, this place is for you! Sara was kind enough to let us stay for an extended visit (6 weeks) while we found more permanent housing in the area. The rental is a bit far from downtown Bellingham (20-30 minutes) but the drive is gorgeous - so no complaints there! This rental was the perfect place to be reintroduced to the Pacific Northwest; we felt so in touch with nature and the tides.A bonus is that there is a full kitchen and we were able to cook most of our meals at home! Even in winter, this place is cozy and a true home away from home. Thanks for a great stay, Sara!

Our family had an outstanding trip!! We had everything we needed and more. We loved the kayaks, bikes, and scooter and enjoyed several of the board games that were available.

Great place for my grandson’s first kayaking and paddle boarding. Comfortable and relaxing. Very dog friendly! And easy to cook in the kitchen.

Dawn and Sara have curated a delightful space. Their house is truly a home! We were blown away by the thoughtfulness of the amenities. It was a joy to relax in their bright, welcoming, airy home on the water. The neighbors were very friendly and always presented a wave and a smile (and a tail wag from Riley, the goldendoodle next door). If you're looking a quiet escape, choose this listing.
