Perfect for a little getaway! Everything about this Airbnb was amazing. The views were gorgeous. The home is nestled on a peaceful hillside with amazing views. My husband and I came here for a little romantic getaway. It was the perfect location to relax and unwind. Highly recommend booking this home! If you’re not in great shape, the steep walkway to/from the house might be challenging for some.

The Violin House is beautiful, comfortable, and private. Perfect for a romantic getaway. The design, finish, and craftsmanship of the house is exceptional. Very warm and spacious with luxurious details. Elegant, modern aesthetic. Striking photographic artwork. The Finnish soapstone stove is amazing. The shower is a dream. Plush mattresses and linens. The kitchen is extremely well-appointed. Fun mix of Japanese and European dishware. Glassware for every style of beverage. Epic alpine views from a hot tub in the snow: check that fantasy off the bucket list. The interior flows from space to space, where only the bathrooms have doors. The walkway from the parking area to the house is more long and steep than implied in the photos. Seriously, it’s no joke, especially in the snow. The house and property are significantly more amazing than the photos show. Worth it! Suggestions for guests: No ice in the freezer, so bring your own for that first “we’re-finally-here” glass of whiskey.

What a wonderful stay with a dusting of snow on our last evening. The walk up and down the hill is steep, so was grateful for the clear description. The loft bedroom with huge windows looking outside was my favorite.

Even more stunning in person, the views (and secluded privacy) alone from the house are totally worth it! Note that there is a relatively steep walk up/down to the actual house from the garage, but totally manageable. The expansive deck and spacious hot tub are huge perks. We even saw deer from the bedroom loft the first morning! Loved the retro record player and vinyls. We cooked one meal and the kitchen was fully equipped. Note also to bring your own ground coffee. Would definitely stay again!
