Amazing stay although but one thing was the dryer kept saying DR on it and wasn’t drying correctly and kept going back on default setting to 6 minutes. Other than that amazing location, amazing house and amazing view. Definitely would come back!

We loved our stay so much and we will definitely stay again. Sitting in the living room watching the storm waves come in was awesome. This is a 5 -star rental. Loved, loved, loved it. The stove needs to be updated. The burners do not light without a match or a striker and the oven does not come to temperature. We set it at 350 to bake some bread and you could smell gas. It also never baked the bread in 30 minutes, it took over an hour. The dryer would not dry. We tried all of the cycles that it had. It would start showing 2 hours to dry and then re-set to 5 minutes and all clothes were still soaking wet. Had to dry one piece at a time. Cleaned the lint trap and even went outside on clean the dryer vent, all to no avail. The power went out a couple of times while we were there. It would be nice if you could make up an emergency kit that included a flashlight, et. Maybe some new pillows also, they were very flat.

During our stay the power went out due to a big ice storm, which means so did the heater. We contacted the host to ask if they had any provisions they could provide us (ie. Propane heater, extra blankets, flashlights, candles) we were told they had nothing to provide us and if we wanted to leave we could. Unfortunately due to the storm we could not leave nor get a hotel because so many others had already booked them. We had to go buy all our own provisions to sustain until the power came back on almost 30 hours later. One of the rooms was a converted garage that was clearly not insulated properly and was just pouring cold air into the house. It had condensation dripping down the ceiling and walls. We had to close that room off and not use it at all. We were also not offered any kind of ice melt, shovel or assistances to get in and out of the home that had 2inches of ice built up on the concrete stairs and driveway. We were very disappointed in the with the way this was handled.
