The first page of the listing is a photo with a hot tub on a deck overlooking the ocean. The house looked a little tired, but the hot tub with that view made the price worth it. Unfortunately the hot tub did not work. The water was freezing. When we called we were told maintenance would come out. They then called back to say they knew the hot tub was not functional and they were waiting on a part. They did refund my $75 hot tub fee, but I’ve requested they also refund an additional amount considering their listing is misleading and advertised an amenity that does not work. I also let them know the stairs from the deck to the yard are broken - which I did not realize until I was halfway down them with my dog! There was no sign or warning of the disrepair. The house was clean but showing its age. The vents are noticeably dirty. The view was amazing and it’s just a short walk to the beach. This is my second bad experience with Meredith homes and I’ll be sure to not repeat.

Upon arriving at our rental house we found the hot tub was broken and the filter was FULL of hair. I called and spoke to a lady to see if we could possibly be moved to a house with a working hot tub. No such luck. She said that wasn’t even an option, although I know it is cause 2 years ago when I rented with Meredith something similar happened. Anyways she assured me a $75 hot tub fee would be removed from my total charge and that management would be calling me back. Well it’s now been a week since check out and I have never received a phone call, an email back, or any other kind of reimbursement of any kind. I’m extremely disappointed. Don’t rent with Meredith Properties no matter what you do. I’m bummed it took me two separate incidents to get to this realization but here we are.

We had a wonderful stay for our family trip to Lincoln City. Highlights of the home are the tidy presentation, fully-stocked kitchen, fenced in backyard, and impeccable coast view. There are two beach access points a very short walk down a safe road, and we used these as our starting points for beachcombing. There are some maintenance issues that I will share privately with the owner, but none of them negatively impacted our stay - except for some of the jets in the hot tub not functioning. We still enjoyed the view from the hot tub and it too was a highlight.

Great Amenities! what stood out to me was the cable TV in the living room and the master bedroom. Great view of the ocean from the jacuzzi, the location is a prime destination if you’re looking to shop and close to so many well-rated restaurants. Great place to reconnect with old friends.
