We spent a week at this beautiful rental and wished we could have stayed longer! The location was absolutely stunning and the pictures truly don’t do it justice. It felt very private and serene. It is fairly far from Hopkins, but we rented a car and were only a few minutes away. The beach was perfect and we loved seeing manatees surface on calm days. The outside deck is where we ate most days. There definitely are mosquitoes and sand flies, so make sure to pack bug spray. The only complaint was the windows and screen door in the second bedroom weren’t functional, so the breeze couldn’t be appreciated on cool evenings. The kitchen was well stocked, there were plenty of towels for beach and bath, and the available laundry was awesome. The ground floor storage was perfect for dive gear. Steven was absolutely amazing when we went out with him for a bioluminescence tour and island hopping/snorkeling. He was informative and fun and helped my friend feel comfortable in the ocean!

We absolutely loved our stay in Sittee Point! The home is exactly as described. The 'back yard' is a lovely white sand beach with comfortable loungers and hammocks to while away the day. The home is spacious and well laid out, it was perfect for our family of 4. Beds are very comfortable. But the best part about this place is the host and her caretakers, Mary and Daniel. Daniel was there to meet us when we arrived and stopped in to make sure we had everything we needed. We had one small issue with the stove and they were over within 5 minutes to look into it and even brought over a hot plate just in case we couldn't fix the stove! Karen was, hands down, the most responsive Airbnb host I've ever had the pleasure to communicate with. I emailed a few questions and she always responded within an hour! I would highly recommend a stay here if you are looking for a private space in a gorgeous location.

Karen is a wonderful host! This location was really the highlight of our whole trip! Make sure you take a trip or two out with Steven he is absolutely amazing and gave us the trips of our lifetime! We seen jaguars! Bioluminescence Lagoon! Crocs! Sharks! Absolutely amazing!

We loved this beautiful house right on the beach. It easily fit our extended family of 7. It was comfortable and well equipped, with friendly, personable caretakers. Daniel was our contact during our stay and we really enjoyed meeting him. We loved the clear, gentle waters just off the beach where you could swim and look for sand dollars and manatee swimming by as well as kayaking on the adjacent canal and river. Use Karen's precautions against biting insects. Screened porch was great. Of special note was our trip out to the cayes and reef on Karen's boat with Captain Steven and snorkel guide Daniel. The boat was in great condition and the snorkel gear was brand new. They were fantastic guides and took us to see birds, manatee, and amazing snorkeling. They took great care of even the most timid of our party. Don't forget sunscreen! It was quiet and we saw wildlife even though the house was in a residential area. Nearby Hopkins had amenities such as supermarkets, ATM and restaurant
