自我介绍

Rhiannon lives with her two border collies, her cat Merlin and her pony, Cleo, on a small organic farm in the foothills of the beautiful Brecon Beacons. As her son and daughter now live far away from "home", she has opened her farm to guests who truly appreciate nature, the passing seasons, and the slow pace of life in this spectacular and unspoiled rural community. Rhiannon is a retired Headteacher, speaks 4 languages, and particularly enjoys having guests from abroad, as it gives her a chance to practice her language skills. The Little House in the Mountains was built by Rhiannon's late husband who was a skilled cabinet maker and passionate about everything to do with wood and woodland. Rhiannon is a keen amateur musician and plays both classical and traditional Celtic music. She plays in an acoustic group, Derwen, who played at the Welsh national Eistedfod in 2016. She also leads a local folk group, the Black Hill Voices. Rhiannon is also a keen walker and will be able to tell you all about the best walks and excursions in the Brecon Beacons and their local area. Although she has travelled in four continents, her heart belongs at Little Trewern, in the warm and sometimes windy, embrace of the Black Hill and the Black Mountains!
