Inside, discover an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a vaulted ceiling, exposed timber frame, and plenty of glass framing rural views. The kitchen area has everything needed for a self-catering break, and the central dining table provides the perfect setting for memorable mealtimes. A step leads to the raised lounge area, where you can unwind next to the wood burner and watch the Smart TV/DVD. Step down into the hallway, which leads to a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room. There’s also a family bathroom on this level. Stairs lead to the twin bedroom in the eaves and a relaxing mezzanine area overlooking the living space. Outside, the cottage has a sunny patio with furniture and a BBQ and an enclosed lawn that’s ideal for children and dogs. Abergavenny is a vibrant town with independent shops and eateries. The town hosts regular markets, making it a great place for picking up local produce for your supper. After a morning of retail therapy, take a stroll along the towpath of the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal. Alternatively, journey to Llangorse Lake (27 miles) for an afternoon on the water. History enthusiasts will enjoy a trip to LLanthony Priory (10 miles) to admire the atmospheric ruins sitting in the shadows of the Black Mountains.
