We have just come home from our weekend away and I speak for us all when I say what an absolutely brilliant weekend we had. A beautiful barn in the most stunning setting. Sheri was responsive leading up to and during our stay and we received a warm welcome from Andrew on arrival. The barn is simply stunning - has everything you would need and was beautifully decorated - the attention to detail is excellent. We were incredibly lucky with the weather meaning that we could make the most or the beautiful surroundings - the hot tub and fire pit on an evening were so special! We managed to visit both Abergavenny and Crickhowell and took advantage of the many walks locally. We also enjoyed drinks at the crown pub, just a short distance away. Thank you Sheri and Andrew for hosting our stay. We had everything we needed right at our finger tips and everything was perfect for us throughout. We will absolutely be returning! X

The location is lovely and easy to find thanks to Sheri’s detailed instructions. We felt welcome and at home from the moment we arrived. Some super treats in the kitchen and a nice welcome by Andrew, who showed us round and gave us some tips. The barn is lovely and very spacious for 6 adults. We all loved the hot tub and made good use of the pizza oven which was a bonus. The kitchen is very well equipped for self catering although we did walk to the local pub The Crown at Pantygelli which was very nice and about half an hour on foot. We went pony trekking at The Grange centre which was lovely - we were lucky with the weather which was a huge bonus. It’s such a beautiful area. Thanks Sheri, Andrew and Sally we loved it!

This is the best accommodation that we have stayed in by far. What struck us most was the beautiful views, endless tracks to explore in the mountains behind the house and how friendly the hosts were . We were greeted by the owner of the barn who lives on site . He was incredibly friendly and made sure we had all we needed . Despite having them close to hand, we still felt we had privacy. The barn itself was stunning . Everything you could ever need and squeaky clean . We received welcome goodies in the shape of Welsh cakes, Prosecco and fresh apple juice which was a lovely treat. The hot tub was very clean and set up to give incredible views and privacy . For a large family with two dogs we had plenty of space and it really felt like a luxury stay. Shops a short drive away and a perfect location for day trips to all of the local points of interest . Thoroughly recommended.

Sugar loaf barn was a fantastic place to stay! Sherri was very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. Andrew was very helpful and friendly at check, gave a great tour and very friendly throughout our stay. Would highly recommend visiting.

Had a wonderful few days at this beautiful barn. Everything was provided and the setting was stunning. Fabulous walk up Sugar Loaf mountain with great views at the top. Excellent meals at the local Crown pub and The Bear Hotel in Crickhowell. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
