Mark&Ruth非常友善并善于沟通，房子布置精心，厨房设施齐全，非常适合家庭入住，更有无与伦比的私家森林和湖滩。周围非常安静，我们休息的很好。离温德米尔开车十分钟左右，去超市和徒步都非常方便。有机会的话，我们还会选择入住。

I can’t put into words what a beautiful stay this was. The beach is a pristine treasure and we used it everyday even in the heavy rain. The cottage is so lovely and cosy, beds so comfortable, lovely hot shower and kitchen has everything you need and it is all spotless. Ruth and Mark were so helpful and kind and we felt like friends rather than guests! We would be honoured to stay here again!

The cottage is just lovely, filled with historical curiosities in keeping with the history of the house. It has many similarities to Hill Top House. It's very clean, comfortable and has everything you need to make it a home from home. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the patio sitting on the swing chair and taking in the glorious peaceful surroundings. A highlight in the evenings was to take a s short stroll through the 'enchanted wood' sit on our own little beach watching the water skiers or take a quiet moment of reflection on the hammock. Mark and Ruth are very welcoming hosts and provided us with good local knowledge. Thanks to them we had a great morning in Grasmere. We would also recommend visiting Levens Hall, and Brantwood House. Truly amazing gateway! The grounds where beautiful and private which was great to hideaway from the busy streets. The house was packed with character and we enjoyed looking at the trinkets hidden away in every corner of the home. Loads to do in the surrounding area including, food, walks and attractions. The icing on the cake was the properties own private beach which our little boy loved. Can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful cottage in outstanding surroundings. Our only regret was that we could only stay two nights. We were there for a fell running weekend and it was the perfect location. Home from home.
