We were here for a few days as my wife and I had an elopement in Aberfoyle. Natural beauty and old fashioned romantic setting staying at the West Wing of Duchray Castle. It was also the perfect place to stage photos for the next day. Would love to come back!

I booked Duchray castle for my husband’s 50th and the feedback from the guests was that the stay was absolutely magical! The location is incredible and the castle was gorgeous! Well outfitted rooms that are warm and cozy. And Amy was incredible at helping me arrange a caterer, cabs and experiences for my husband and his dearest friends. 10 out of 10 experience! I can’t wait to have a reason to book again!

Absolutely superb for the price. It’s very beautiful and peaceful. Any issues were very very minor for the rate and age of the building. A very nice play to get away from EVERYTHING.

We had a wonderful stay at Duchray Castle. The apartment is lovely and cosy and warm, with plenty of hot water after spending a day outside. There are lots of lovely walks around the beautiful grounds and the games room is an added bonus. There is lots to see and do in the local area, with some truly beautiful walks. We went in early January and had perfect crisp, dry weather and blue skies. We would definitely recommend Scotland in Winter. Amy and her family are lovely friendly hosts and we all fell in love with their gorgeous dog! We highly recommend Duchray Castle and hope to return one day soon.

We had a wonderful stay as a family of 4 in the West Wing at Duchray castle. Amy was an excellent host - great communication and very helpful. The location is stunning - no other word for it. Located 2 miles up a forestry track, it feels completely private and remote (but is actually pretty close to nearby village and shops). There are walks all around from your doorstep, plus a games room with ping pong and darts (big hit with our kids), highland cows and chickens to visit. There is incredible mountain and loch scenery within a 10 mile radius of the front door. The interior of the property is warm and welcoming, with cosy underfloor heating and very comfy beds. Everything we needed was on hand. Our three night stay was not cheap, but it did represent excellent value for what is a top drawer Airbnb rental, a real highlight of the year for us. Can't wait to go back!
