At an altitude of 400 metres in the hills around Assisi, 'La Sentinella' overlooks the valley, framed by meadows, fruit and olive trees, cypresses, lime trees and old roses, offering a fairytale view. The property consists of a historic farmhouse, a small 7th century tower, a park of almost two hectares and a swimming pool.<br>The nearest village is a 5-minute drive away, with a pharmacy, bar, bakery and supermarket, as well as an excellent butcher's shop and a centre for the sale of truffles.

Full privacy, breathless views on Val d'Orcia and ideal starting point for jouneys. Kids and pets welcome. The only place in the area that boasts a private swimming pool + a wide garden for exclusive use of house guests. Do you drive an electric car? We also provide a dedicated wall-box. The pool is open from May the 16th to September the 28th.

The accommodation consists of a small stone house on two levels with an outdoor stone patio and is located on the top of a hill completely covered with woods. A short private white road ( 500m) leads from the paved road to the house. The building was designed by the owner, who is an architect, and is built according to the most recent anti-seismic regulations and according to the principles of bio-architecture. The house is actually a near zero energy building (Nzeb).
