Very conveniently placed . A cosy, agreable cottage with character. We particularly appreciated the gas 'wood burning stove and that the bathroom had a bath! Attentive hostess. Highly recommend in any season.

Hazel's property was great and it was especially lovely to have a well equipped kitchen. Hazel was immediately on hand when we encountered a problem and immediately sorted it out. Excellent support from her. Would definitely visit again.

Great place, lovely location, Hazel had thought of everything. If there is a downside and it’s only minor, parking…. But make use of the public ones, £5 a day so no hassle.

Great host, great communication. nice extras left by hazel in the property.pets are well catered for as well. Perfect position for all amenities and great walks from your front door. Really enjoyed staying here and the location couldn't be better. Even though the courtyard is shared we didn't see anyone. I would recommend this property to friends. Thank you for a great stay.

We booked Hazel’s place over New Year at short notice, wonderful host, very flexible and communication was great. Such a lovely, quaint, well equipped cosy cottage. It is tucked behind the high street so you have everything on your doorstep. We were expecting a little noise with where we were and it being New Year but we did not hear a thing! Very quiet and peaceful. Appreciated the little extra treats Hazel left for us…and the Christmas lights and little tree. 😀 Worthwhile downloading the parking App ‘Ringo’. We managed to park, more or less, right outside the cottage to unload and load. You can actually park overnight on this street, which we did, and then moved it to the station parking area the next morning and kept it there for the remainder of our break for a minimal fee as we prefer to use public transport if going further afield. I believe there are areas that you can park for free but we were more than happy with our parking situation. We will be back!
