The location was great, overall the house and the space was phenomenal. The pool was big and the rooms were spacious. If we have the opportunity to visit again it is likely we would stay there again. However, we had an agreement before hand for a price adjustment that didn’t happen and the pool was dirty for two days. We know these things can happen and it’s out of you hands but we as clients expect for the property to be clean and ready to use the moment we check-in. Also, we noticed that when there are two appliances on at the same time, the electricity falters or diminishes. Which can cause damage to the electrical appliances. We had an awesome time with the family. The beach is like 2 minutes walking distances and it’s amazing. And they’re pet friendly!

Excelente lugar para pasar unos días en familia grandes o celebrar alguna actividad. Lugar espacioso, con piscina salón de actividades, columpios para los niños y lo mejor no tienes vecinos alrededor. Lugar para estacionar los carros en la propiedad. Lugar muy limpio, suficientes toallas y sábanas. Tiene agua caliente. En resumen, tremenda propiedad y facilidades para aquellos que tenemos niños y queremos que disfruten. No tiene aire pero corre la brisa y como todo lugar cerca de la playa llegan los mosquitos a visitar en la noche, con un poco de repelente resuelves.

We were 3 families for a total of 6 adults and 8 kids aged 4-11. We stayed at this house for 5 nights. I see that this property doesn’t have enough reviews, so I’ll try to make this as detailed as possible. Location: This house is located on the coast, close to a small town called Barceloneta. It’s about 1 hour drive from Jas Juan when there is no traffic. The two main advantages of the location are the proximity to a nice quiet beach (literally 2 minutes’ walk from the house) and the fact that it’s super secluded. Even if you’re a noisy group, you will not bother the neighbors because there are none. Literally there is no other house within half a mile radius or so. For us this was perfect, and we really enjoyed the fact that we didn’t need to worry about the kids play noise bothering anyone, and on the flip side, once they were asleep no one bothered us. The downside of the location is that the main tourist attractions of PR are between 1-2 hours drive away. We were fine with this, but if you don’t like to drive and still want to do all the snorkeling tours / bioluminescent kayaking / rain forest walk etc. perhaps look for something in San Juan or to the east of it. The property: There are 2 buildings and a pool on a HUGE fenced-in privet ground (With coconut trees and wild Iguanas walking around). The main house has 5 bedrooms and 2 baths, in addition to a living room and a kitchen. The second building is a large pool house. Note that the sixth bedroom and two bathrooms are in the pool house. In addition, there is a large open area in the pool house, in case you want to throw a party there. There is a very (VERY!) nice pool. Honestly, this is the nicest pool I’ve seen in an Airbnb. The kids loved it, and so did the adults. Two points about the property – While everything was very clean, the house interior and most of the furniture are far from new. We didn’t mind this at all, but if you’re looking for luxurious shiny new things, you will not find them here. The one thing that did bother us was the shower situation. The two showers in the pool house don’t have warm water at all. For some people this might be fine, given the Caribbean weather, but it’s not for everyone. The two showers in the main house did have warm water, but the water pressure was extremely weak. Taking a shower was no fun… This is the only thing that would make me rate this house as a 4.5 if I could. It is noteworthy that we did NOT contact the hostess about this shower issue, and it’s possible that if we did this perhaps could have been fixed. Hostess: The communication with Carmen was good, and we got timely answers to all our questions and requests.

Wonderful place!
